Charlevoix Intermediate School District is one of the independent school districts in Michigan. The district serves more than 11,000 students in various local public and private schools. It also serves various disabled students, and students in vocational education programs. The programs offered by the district include alternative, curriculum and assessment programs and school projects. It also offers business, career and technical education services, assistance with state and federal mandates, and assistive technology and consultancy services. Additionally, it offers distance learning, the Drug-Free Schools program, early childhood special education and hospitalization services. The school additionally offers assistance with legislative, legal and compliance issues. It also offers occupational therapy, psychologists and pupil accounting services. The district also has a media center and is headquartered in Charlevoix, Mich.
