WEST MICHIGAN SCALES was founded in the fall of 1975. Tom Bieberle, one of the original founders is still active in the business. As its name suggests, West Michigan Scale focused most of its efforts in Western Michigan. The company has grown into one of the largest sales and service organizations in its area. The business has grown on the principal of meeting its customer's needs. The company was originally located in Battle Creek, Michigan at the old fire station for the Battle Creek Airport, which was nothing more than a three stall garage. Today we are located at 943 Industrial Pkwy, Plainwell, Michigan in a modern eight thousand square foot building. Along with a larger building, the company's fleet of vehicles has increased from one pickup truck and two compact cars into six service trucks, two heavy capacity test vehicles and several company cars. We are distributors for over twenty different scale and load cell manufacturers. There are several hundred manufacturers supplying equipment to the scale industry. With such a large array of equipment we pride ourselves in the best possible solution for our customers needs. Although price is a consideration in choosing a product, we will not compromise the quality of the equipment we supply.
