Sharing their passion for music, Dan Lake and Jim Cook refurbished a fantastic downtown Clare building and have become a great asset to the diverse shopping that Downtown Clare offers. Central Michigan Music opened its doors in March 2013 and have a wide variety of new and used musical equipment. They also offer such services as equipment and instrument repair including electronics, complete sound system installations, equipment rental, and much more.

Central Michigan Music offers musical equipment sales and service. Some of the brands we offer in the store are: D'Addario, Ernie Ball, Takamine Guitars, Scheter Guitars, Gretsch Drums, Line 6 Amps, and a variety of other products. Also available are a variety of Band and Orchestral Instruments and accessories. We also provide repair service for guitars, band and orchestral instruments, and most other types of instruments as well. Music Lessons are available for Guitar, Drums, Vocals, Violin, Ukulele, and Piano at a rate of $20 per half hour lesson.
