Care Conservatory Ballet is a non-profit organization based in Grand Rapids, MI, dedicated to promoting dance in West Michigan. With a performing company, Creative Arts Repertoire Ensemble (CARE), and a training school, CARE Conservatory of Ballet (CCB), they provide performance opportunities, technical staging skills, and a positive dance experience for young artists. Through their annual public performances and community outreach programs, CARE has introduced over 70,000 at-risk elementary school students to classical ballet, nurturing a love for dance in the community.
With a focus on the dancer as a whole person, CARE offers ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, yoga, and more classes at CCB. Their three ten-week sessions a year allow dancers to progress at their own pace, and participation in three unique ballet productions provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of performance. CARE's family-friendly ballets, such as Swan Lake and Twas the Night Before Christmas, bring classical ballets and children's stories to life through dance, captivating audiences of all ages.
