History
The original Candlelite Bowl was opened in 1980 and ceased all operations in May of 2019. Initially purchased as a real estate investment, the new owners took possession in October 2019. It quickly became obvious to them the facility filled a void in the surrounding communities and schools. Within 5 weeks of receiving the keys, the new owners opened Candlelite Sports. Aside from a very deep cleaning and new interior paint, eight lanes were removed to allow for cornhole and football bowling in the new arena section. The rest of the facility houses 24 lanes of bowling, arcade games, a skill room, full bar and diner. Since re-opening, Candlelite has been chosen to host several charity and corporate events. The business is community focused and gives back to students whenever possible.
