IdraPrince produces die-casting equipment used by original equipment manufacturers throughout North America and the rest of the world. Its products include two-platen, cold-chamber and hot-chamber die-casting machines. The company also offers services such as semisolid rheocasting, squeeze-casting and programmable multistage intensification. It manufactures components and upgrades including shot-system retrofits, die-carrier systems, linkage replacement and repair, machine rebuilds and machine evaluations. IdraPrince, which was originally named Prince Machine, was founded by Edgar Prince in 1965. In 2000 it was acquired by Italy-based Idra Presse and renamed IdraPrince. The company has headquarters in Holland, Mich., and sales offices in Washington, Minnesota and Texas. It is a subsidiary of I2 Capital.
