The Bank of Ann Arbor is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arbor Bancorp, a locally owned and managed financial service holding company. The Bank of Ann Arbor is the only locally owned and operated bank in the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti, Mich. area. With six million dollars of initial capital the bank opened its doors in 1996. It has since expanded to several locations. The year 2001 saw the opening of its first branches. The Bank of Ann Arbor is a full-service bank that offers its customers personal checking; personal savings; CDs and IRAs; personal loans; online banking; leasing; and business investment services. It is a member of FDIC and is an equal housing lender.
