Art For A Cause and Cute Tools fundraising program was founded in ten year sago by local Birmingham business woman Lisa Knoppe-Reed. She founded this charitble organization while cultivating her passion for art by painting intricate patterns and flowers on tools around her house. Knoppe-Reed "stumbled" on her mission when she took her Cute Tools to help a special education class in the area. The kids were so excited to see and use these "special tools", and that is when Lisa Knoppe-Reed turned her dream into a reality. Today, Art for a Cause and Cute Tools has helped raise money for schools and other charitable causes. The studio, Art for A Cause, has volunteers to help Ms. Knoppe-Reed, and all of the items made in the studio are sold with a portion of the proceeds going to various charities. Art for a Cause has recently developed its own specially designed work site that holds a selection of Cute Tools. This work site has led to an Art For a Cause Micro Enterprise idea that Knoppe-Reed hopes will inspire others to help more people in need.
