The Area Community Services Employment & Training Council, also known as ACSET, serves individuals in low-income families. It operates Kent County Senior Millage, which administers outreach, assistance, weatherization and transportation programs. The council conducts English as a Second Language classes. The Area Community Services Employment & Training Council offers a range of child care, education advisory, community and crime prevention services. It also provides emergency assistance, housing and employment services. The council serves dislocated workers and unemployed individuals, as well as senior citizens with disabilities.
