After completing his Fellowship in 1991, Dr. Capone joined the faculty at Emory University, where he was a tenured Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Vitreoretinal Fellowship Training Program until he joined ARC in 2000. He is a board certified ophthalmologist whose special interests include pediatric vitreoretinal diseases, complicated retinal detachment, ocular oncology and macular disease. He has been actively involved in resident and fellowship education for more than 20 years, and serves as Co-Director of the Associated Retinal Consultants Vitreoretinal Fellowship Training Program.
