HistoryWorking as Program and Volunteer Coordinator at Charlevoix County Commission on Aging, I had the great opportunity to get to know many families here in the community as I traveled between three senior centers. In this position, I saw firsthand the need of seniors in the community and sincerely enjoyed working with them. Wanting to help fulfill the senior care need personally, I resigned from my job and went back to school full time for Nursing and trained at local assisted living facilities; Grandvue Medical Care Facility, Angel Heart Home Care and the Brook Retirement Communities.
