The Wellesley Department of Public Works (DPW) is located in the same building as the Municipal Light Plant. The building is located at 2 Municipal Way, formerly 455 Worcester St., and the DPW entrance can be found at the front of the building. The department is responsible for the following services: engineering, parks, highways, recycling and disposal, management services, water, sewers and street lighting. The three member Board of Public Works, an elected board, oversees the DPW, and the current DPW director is Michael P. Pakstis.
