Filmmakers Collaborative

The Waltham based Filmmakers Collaborative is a non-profit that provides support for independent media makers. Founded in 1986, it provides and administers grants from a variety of sources, including the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the Ford Foundation. It also provides assistance for independent films and professional development and educational programming. Filmmakers Collaborative has sponsored more than 60 projects to date, some of which have appeared at major festivals or as part of popular PBS television shows.
