This private school moved to Medfield in January 2007 and seeks to provide girls with a college preparatory, religiously-based education. Montrose strives to challenge each student to cultivate intellect and character and leadership and service through an excellent liberal arts curriculum, personal character and collaboration with parents. The curriculum is aligned with Catholic teachings and influenced by the teachings of Opus Dei to encourage moral living and call students to connect all aspects of their daly life with their faith. Montrose School was named a Top 10 Private School by Boston Magazine in September 2009 and was the recipient of the National School of Character Award in 1999.
