History
George Westinghouse, owner of Tesla's patents and champion of the AC utility grid that won out over Thomas Edison's DC version, built The Playhouse in 1800s, it then became part of the Vanderbilt Estate. The Playhouse has since served as theater, town center, yoga retreat and meditation hall, and is now a newly renovated iconic Berkshire's property serving as specialty lodging / a truly unique vacation rental.
