The Lower Depths is a beer bar which offers more than 150 bottled beer varieties and 16 rotating drafts. It serves food until 12:30am. It is adamant about its cash-only policy and there is an ATM located near the front door. All food items can be ordered for take-out except the $1 hot dogs. Breweries bring in specialty beers for its beer socials and prizes are occasionally awarded.
