History
The Chanticleer has been a restaurant since 1909 when it was opened as an ice cream shop. It quickly became a popular family restaurant until the 1960's when it became one of the top fine dining restaurants on the east coast. Today The Chanticleer continues to serve the finest ingredients in an upscale casual setting. Seating in the rose garden and several distinct dining rooms.

Fine dining daily for lunch and dinner. Open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day in the old fishing village of Siasconset on Nantucket's east end. Also available for private gatherings, corporate events and weddings.
