Temple Beth Avodah is a congregation offering a traditional Jewish education, cultural awareness and communal involvement in temple life. While most of its members live in nearby Oak Hill, Newton Centre and South Brookline, many come from surrounding towns also attend the temple s functions, such as nursery school, religious school and summer day camp programs. Established more than 30 years ago, TBA publishes Kadima, a monthly newsletter that covers a range of topics, such as the youth community, sisterhood and brotherhood, adult education, B nai Mitzvah, social action and the temple life cycles. The temple also offers services that include adult education book club, sisterhood camp fair, artist in residence program, women s Kallah, interfaith dinner, Shabbat dinner and congregational meetings.
