When a restaurant is by all appearences devoted to foreign food (in this case, Greek cuisine), one doesn't necessarily expect to find American favorites on the menu, too. But Steve's is truly a vendor of "Greek and American Cuisine," as evidenced by its diner-style, customizable breakfast menu, where eggs, bacon, muffins, coffee, etc. are to be found in abundance. While the lunch and dinner menus at Steve's brim with American standards such as pizza, fries and mozzarella sticks, it is here that its Greek sensibility is evident — in the form of souvlaki, gyros, hummus, tsatsiki, tabbouleh and a variety of lamb dishes.
The interior is humble but spacious, with a great deal of window seating — on a nice day, the windows are thrown open, and it's almost like dining outside. Steve's serves domestic and imported beer, wine, and Greek wine.
