History
Stephen has been in practice as a family and individual therapist for 20 years. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Counseling, and from Smith College School for Social Work with an MSW. He received his family therapy training at Family Institute of Cambridge, and individual therapy training at the Stone Center at Wellesley College. He's worked in school, agency, clinic, hospital, emergency room, wilderness and residential settings, is a former Outward Bound Instructor with the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, and a former Peace Corps volunteer. Stephen bring the unique perspective from these experiences to his work with families and individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. He is presently on the teaching and field faculty at Smith College School for Social Work and holds a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Supervision.
