Established in 1990, Snell Library is a part of Northeastern University Libraries. The library maintains a collection of more than 980,000 items, including books, magazines, newspapers, journals, databases and research materials. It houses a range of multimedia products that includes CDs, DVDs, cassettes and videotapes. Its special collection includes archives, manuscripts and government documents. The library also offers material in Chinese, French, German, Greek and Italian. Snell Library organizes various events, including author lectures and reading activities. Additionally, it offers course reserves, reference assistance and online access to databases. The library also houses products and equipment for patrons with visual and hearing disabilities. Its facility includes a seminar room for lectures, presentations and special events. Located in Boston, Snell Library offers renewals, interlibrary loans and computer access to its members.
