Founded in 1968, People, Incorporated is one of the largest multiservice corporations that serves individuals with disabilities in southeastern Massachusetts. The organization maintains a staff of more than 300 employees. It supports Greater Fall River Early Intervention, which is a community-based program certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. This program includes developmental play groups, behavior management assistance and hippotherapy services. People, Incorporated operates the Young Parents Learning Center, as well as administers various early intervention programs to serve pregnant and postpartum women. Its early intervention programs include health screening, prenatal care, emotional support and nutritional counseling services. In addition, the organization offers several residential, employment, and community and family support services.
