Among the brownstones in Boston's historic South end are buildings chock-full of local artists. One such artist is Joyce Roessler, who specializes in creating contemporary glass jewelry from blown glass. Her signature necklaces are brightly-colored glass tubes woven and twisted to create pieces with architectural heft. She also creates jewelry with cut and tumbled pieces of these long tubes of glass. In her studio/retail space at 46 Waltham Street, Rosessler creates several kinds of adornments: rings, key rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. She also sells a wide selection of glass beads. Custom work for special occasions and weddings is available.
