Located at the end of Cypress Street in Whiskey Point, the Mary E. Robinson Playground includes a baseball diamond, half basketball court, open field, spray fountain and woodchip playground with slides and swings. The park was once the site of a car barn for the Boston Elevated Railway Company, but was sold to the town for use as a park in the 1930's.
Robinson Playground is part of Brookline's Green Dog Program, which allows park users to let their dogs off leash during certain hours. At Robinson, dogs are allowed off leash from dawn until 9am.
