Located on the upper level of the Woodland Plaza in Vineyard Haven, near Humphrey's Bakery, Rise Performing Arts Studio offers dance classes and one-on-one instruction for boys and girls of all ages, up through adults. The studio is located in a corner of the building, and while the entry is small, don't let that fool you. Beyond the tidy little cubbies for shoes and cellphones, an expansive dance studio with classic ceiling-to-floor walls exists. Inside, the lighting and decor make for an almost cozy feel. Once you're on the floor examining your posture in the mirror, it's easy to forget you're actually on the ground level of a shopping plaza.
