I started Record Genie when I wanted to have some of my own record collection cleaned, and was surprised that none of the many Boston area record stores offered a cleaning service. I already owned a Spin-Clean, but once I started researching the best record cleaning equipment, it became clear that newly available ultrasonic record cleaners are the most effective. The high price of such specialized equipment means that a service makes sense. Ultrasonic record cleaning is now affordable for everyone! Expanded operations to Record Genie Music & Hi-Fi retail store in 2019, now home to Record Genie cleaning.
