History
Ramsey Rehab was started by Ed Ramsey PT, DPT in December 1996 when he decided the Northern Worcester County area needed a Physical Therapist owned patient centered assertive out-patient Physical Therapy Clinic. Having worked in all areas of PT over his 6 years of college and 3 years post grad at UMASS Medical, Worcester, MA and more recently as a district manager covering Central and Northern MA and Northern FL for CHCA, Ed took the leap. The first patients were seen on May 9, 1997 on 33 Electric Ave, Fitchburg, MA and in 2000 a 2nd location was added on Erdman Way in Leominster, MA. The Leominster location would move 3 times for continued expansion until a 7000 sq. foot PT clinic and corporate office was opened Sept 2005. From there Ed expanded into Fort Devens (2008), MA until the base was decommissioned and the clinic closed (2013). Seeing additional opportunities to improve access to people Ed added a Tyngsboro (2009), Holden (2011) and most recently an Orange (2015) location.
