Project Care & Concern is a long-standing organization in Dorchester, MA, dedicated to serving the needs of low-income families, youth, and senior citizens. Led by Sister Joyce McMullen and her colleagues from the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the organization aims to help individuals attain their basic human rights when they have been deprived of them. With a thrift shop offering new and used clothing and household items at reasonable prices, Project Care & Concern is committed to providing support and assistance to the residents of Harbor Point and Uphams Corner.
Pilgrim Trinitarian Congregational Church, located on Columbia Road, has been the home of Project Care & Concern for over three decades. The church's second floor houses the organization's offices and thrift shop, which are open to the public from Monday to Thursday. With a mission to share God's house with those in need of help, hope, and a home, Project Care & Concern continues to make a positive impact in the community through its various ministries and outreach programs.
