History

Pop-A-Lock was started in 1991 by 2 police officers in Lafayette, LA. We started as a service to unlock car doors for those who were locked out. After 20+ years, Pop-A-Lock has grown to become the largest locksmith business in the country. While still offering the service of car door unlocking, we now offer a full range of services including your automotive, residential, and commercial needs. We also proudly offer the Emergency Door Unlocking (EDU) Program. This is a FREE community service dedicated to saving children and pets who are inadvertently locked in vehicles. If you lock your child or pet in a car, dial 9-1-1 then call us. Our closest technician will be sent immediately as these calls are made our first priority.
