North Star Guidance Center provides mental health services for individuals of all ages in outpatient, community and home-based settings. Executive director Laura McLaughlin oversees the center, which is also served by licensed medical counselors Judith Berube and Michael Chadwick, clinical social worker Diana Carlson, marriage and family therapist Robin Risso and clinical nurse Elizabeth Flynn. In addition to basic counseling services, the center also offers medication management.

Family Services of Central Massachusetts

Family Services of Central Massachusetts, established in 1889 and based in Worcester, Mass., helps families in the area by providing support, guidance and counseling to individuals and families facing challenges. It is a nonprofit community agency that offers rates based on a sliding fee scale. It offers a range of services, such as information and referrals on child care services and providers; individual, group and family counseling to address personal and family issues; and assistance for companies and their employees with personal and workplace issues.
