The Nipper Maher Park is located on Dartmouth Street, off of South Street. The park features basball fields, a tennis court and basketball court. This field is also used by Waltham High and other little league teams for baseball. There are public restrooms available during baseball season.

Bemis Playground

This well-maintained public park has a very good baseball/softball diamond with a grassy field, as well as a large jungle gym and slide and a basketball court. There is one large wooden picnic table.

Cunniff School Playground

This small playground, adjacent to Cunniff Elementary School, has swings, a jungle gym, a bench and a paved pathway leading off to a neighboring street.

Arboreta and botanical gardens

Moxley Playground

At 5.8 acres, Moxley Park easily hosts a variety of sporting events, including baseball, soccer and lacrosse on the large grass field. The park also has a basketball court, two tennis courts and a batting cage. The field and courts have lights that are used from Memorial Day until the end of daylight-saving time. The playground features a large play structure that are perfect for letting younger children release some energy. Restrooms are available in the field house. The park sits across the street from Watertown Middle School.
