North of Boston, Monkey King Tea began its journey as a hidden bubble tea shop inside of a popular Chinese take-out restaurant. Back then, we specialized in two things: delicious bubble tea and flavored egg puffs. After the restaurant owners retired, Monkey King Tea renovated the space and finally opened as a full-fledged cafe in July 2015 with an expanded menu to include artisanal coffee and espresso, healthy smoothies and fusion snacks. Starting in February 2016, as a weekend special, Monkey King Tea brought greater Boston and its surroundings its first Puffle Cone experience.
