Established in 1987, the MetroWest Cancer Care Center is part of the MetroWest Medical Center's regional health care system.
The MetroWest Cancer Care Center uses a multidisciplinary approach, offering inpatient and outpatient radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. The center also offers support services, support groups and screenings. Patients may participate in national clinical trials.
The Cancer Center is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where patients can recieve bone marrow transplants, genetic testing and gene therapy.
The Cancer Care Center, located in downtown Framingham, serves Framingham and 25 other communities.
