Assumption Mission Associates (AMA) is a ministry of young adults aged 21-32, working in collaboration with the Religious of the Assumption Sisters. With a focus on prayer, education, and community building, AMA volunteers strive to effect change in society and bear witness to the love of Jesus and the Church. Through their commitment to service, solidarity, faith, and community, they serve the poor and marginalized, while also being transformed by their experiences. AMA offers five unique volunteer sites, including two in the U.S. and three abroad, providing opportunities for individuals to engage in faith in action and work towards the Christian transformation of society. With a deep-rooted value of solidarity and a commitment to the common good, AMA volunteers aim to build a more just and compassionate society.
