Dr. Mark C. Fisher is a Board-certified rheumatologist, specializing in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system (muscles and joints), skin, eyes, the nervous system, and internal organs. Dr. Fisher earned his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and his Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at the School of Public Health, both at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UNDNJ). He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and his Fellowship in Rheumatology at NYU’s Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York. Dr. Fisher practiced rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and taught at Harvard Medical School for 9 years before joining Prima CARE. He served as Assistant Medical Director of the MGH Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology and has been active in rheumatologic research, teaching. Dr. Fisher has participated in Corrona’s international registry of rheumatology patients and therapies, serving as Chair of its Malignancy Adjudication Committee. He has lectured nationally, has authored or edited over 30 articles, chapters, and scientific presentations.
