The Lowell Transitional Living Center is a nonprofit organization that provides safe and temporary shelter for homeless individuals and families. Founded in 1986, the center offers on-site housing and support services. It has a staff of more than 200 members, nurses and volunteers who provide nutritional and mental health care services. The Lowell Transitional Living Center is affiliated with the Lowell House, Tri-City Mental Health, Department of Mental Health, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Department of Transitional Assistance and the Lowell Adult Education Center.
