Miss Terri, who has been teaching at Cobblestone Corner for over 8 years, teaches with Miss Mimi (Michelle). Each day the children are greeted and taught by myself and Miss Terri. Cobblestone Corner follows a school year schedule and enrolls children 2.5 years and over. We have an entire floor dedicated to our school only which has a dedicated circle time area, an arts and craft/ eating area and 2 large open planned play areas. Breakfast, 2 snacks and a big healthy lunch is served daily. Our curriculum incorporates learning into fun monthly themes. Lively Letters and Wilson Fundations is used for literacy. Class Dojo is used as a communication tool so that parents are informed about what their child learnt about, had fun doing,and any special and sweet moments we think you would enjoy hearing about, as well as photos from our day. School and learning should be a time discovery and exploration. Most of what young children learn is through sensory experiences, which is why we promote, encourage and incorporate education into play. Our program meets the developmental needs of all children and supports them as they grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.
