HistoryMy name is Allen T. Arumainayagam, founder of CeylonPhoto. I was born in Sri Lanka and came to the USA in April of 1984. One of the first things I acquired was a Nikon FG camera from 42nd Street Photo. I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Photography in the '80s was not cheap, with paying for roles of film and processing photos. I moved on to a Nikon N6006 in 1992. My first big event was to photograph my brother's engagement and wedding. It went so well that my brother borrowed the camera to take shots of his kids, and that was the last I saw of my camera. Since then I have photographed several dozen weddings, birthdays, graduations, funerals and engagements with Nikon D80, D90 and D7100 cameras. Most often I have posted the photos online, created print albums, and digital slide show videos. Last year I also acquired a JVC video camera with the capability to shoot 4K video and as well stream live events.SpecialtiesOur business specializes in making your events special and memorable to you.
