History

The One and Only Store on Chappy had been around for decades. We took it over in 2018 and renamed it Jerry's Place on Chappy in honor of the wonderful man he was and who ran the store for all those decades.

Jerry's Place on Chappy is the one and only store for your everyday needs while you're on Chappaquiddick. On your way to the beach you can grab sandwiches and salads, with some homemade pastries and all sorts of drink options. All of our ready to go daily made meals are made by The Chappy Kitchen. On your way home from the beach swing back in for an ice cream and grab some delicious hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour and a take away dinner. Good Food To You.....Hassle Free!!!

So cute and low key, we couldn't not stop in at the only retail store on Chappaquiddick, not counting the occasional unstaffed farm stands that pop up here and there. Small selection but high...

The Chappy Store and Service Station stakes it claim to fame as being the only store on Chappaquiddick. The store serves as part general convenience store, part gas station and auto repair shop and stocks basics such as milk, ice, beer, sandwiches and newspapers.

Depot Corner Station is a gas station selling lottery tickets, snacks, prepared foods, sodas, juices, water, self-service coffee, and every day essentials such as milk, cream, butter. Prepared foods are available such as soups and pasta and potato salad. There is an ATM on premise and free, but limited parking. Ice and propane are sold year-round, firewood is sold during the fall and winter seasons.
