History
Lorna McKenzie-Pollock is a licensed independent clinical social worker, licensed in the State of Massachusetts. She received her Masters in Social Work from Boston University in 1985. She has been practicing psychotherapy for 31 years and has 28 years experience using hypnosis. She has presented at conferences throughout the United States as well as in Canada, India and New Zealand. She is Director of Training of the New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and served on the Executive Committee of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She was a Part-Time and Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the Boston University School of Social Work from 2001 to 2013. In addition to her training in social work, Ms. McKenzie-Pollock has a Masters Degree in Anthropology, and is also known for her work in cross-cultural issues in psychotherapy. She has treated clients from many different countries, including Cambodia, Vietnam, India, the Middle East and Africa.
