Hickox Williams Architects is a Boston architectural firm, founded in 1983 by principals Brigid Williams (M. Arch Yale 1978) and Patrick Calhoun Hickox (M. Arch. Yale 1979)

Our design work is inspired by New England's rich architectural heritage, including modern, transitional, eclectic and traditional styles. Our Massachusetts project locations include Beacon Hill, the Back Bay, the South End, the North Shore, South Shore, Cape Cod and Islands. We have work in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York , as well as in the Pacific Northwest and the Mid-Atlantic states. We have expertise with urban row houses, coastal, contemporary and mid-century modern houses, barns, stables and farm houses. Our team of designers has backgrounds in construction management, historic preservation, energy innovation and the arts. HWA is committed to delivering excellent design services and collaborating productively with both our clients and contractors. We are creative and knowledgeable designers with a great strength in the bond that we form with our clients and their families.
