A Place to Turn

A Place to Turn is somewhat hidden and is off of the parking lot to the Hartford St. Presbyterian Church. It is a food pantry that collects food in order to donate to families in need. Families can also visit the food pantry and get advice on which foods have a higher nutritional value and how to prepare the foods.

Council of Social Concern

The Woburn Council of Social Concern is located just off of Main Street. This organization is dedicated to helping people develop better community relationships. It helps families find childcare and education. In addition, it houses a food pantry which can be visited by arranging an appointment. The Council of Social Concern also hosts special events to raise money, including the Annual Holiday Food Basket Project. This location provides assistance to more than 3,000 people a year. Volunteers and donations are welcome.
