Henry Hansen established the convenience store in 1926, which later expanded with the print shop. After the main store burnt to the ground overnight in the fall of 1933, the family was forced to build a new store on its present site, next to the family home. The convenience store takes cash only, and collects its currency in an antique cash register. The printing department creates business cards, flyers and brochures.
