Nauset Disposal
Founded in 2000 by owner Shawn DeLude, with only a pair of work gloves and a trusty Toyota pickup truck, Nauset Disposal has quickly grown into the Local's Choice for ALL their disposal needs. Shawn started his career at a young age, hanging off the back of Bayside Disposal trucks and learning the value of customer service. In 1993, BFI bought out Bayside, and Shawn, as part of the acquisition, was suddenly thrust into the corporate world. Shawn quickly rose through the ranks of sales and management, learning the many intricate aspects of the industry. Continually frustrated by the corporate lack of customer relations and mediocre service, Shawn was never able to forget his days with Bayside where the customer was priority. In 1997, Shawn got what he thought to be the chance of a lifetime when a group of local investors rebuilt the old Bayside Disposal and asked him to come aboard as a manager. Shawn jumped at the opportunity, and once again joined the local disposal scene. Two years later however, Bayside was again consumed, this time by Allied Waste, who by taking over BFI, had become the #2 ranked company in the industry. Shawn was now isolated from the industry and spent the next summer running boat charters. This downtime gave Shawn the chance to contemplate his future. The trash industry was never far from his mind. With his well versed background in trash, both with small town Bayside Disposal, and later on in the corporate world with BFI, Shawn's varied experiences had showed him many shortfalls on both sides of the industry. Why, he wondered, couldn't a company provide excellent, customer-based service, while at the same time being a fully capable, Local-orientated service provider? With this basic principle, enthusiastic passion, Shawn's pair of work gloves and his pickup truck, Nauset Disposal was soon born. In the years since, Nauset Disposal has never forgotten our founding principles. What started as a man and his two dogs operation, has turned into an extended family of Local employees who work together to provide the Cape with the best disposal services possible. We are continually committed to our customers and their needs, as well as the surrounding communities. As Codders' , we understand the unique aspects that accompany living, working, and running a business here. There is no place like Cape Cod and we feel privileged to be part of its unique identity.
