Atlantic Power Corporation intends to provide investors with steady and sustainable dividends by enhancing the operations of its facilities, optimizing the projects' contracts and through the accretive acquisition of additional power generating, transmission, and other energy-related facilities. The Debentures pay interest semi-annually on April 30 and October 31 each year. The Debentures mature on October 31, 2014 and are convertible into 80.6452 common shares per Cdn$1, 000 principal amount of Debentures, at any time, at the option of the holder, representing a conversion price of Cdn$12.40 per common share. The 6.25% Convertible Subordinated Debentures were issued on December 17, 2009. The first semi-annual interest payment will be made on September 15, 2010. Thereafter, the Debentures will pay interest semi-annually on March 15 and September 15 each year. The Debentures mature on March 15, 2017 and are convertible into 76.9231 common shares per Cdn$1, 000 principal amount of Debentures, at any time, at the option of the holder, representing a conversion price of Cdn$13.00 per common share.
