SpecialtiesDr. Parisa Shokri is a Board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and she has been practicing full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery for the past 14 years. She has performed over 1,000 major surgeries and several thousand dentoalveolar surgeries and implants. Dr. Shokri received her DMD from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, graduating with high honors and in the top 10% of her class, in 2015. She obtained her general practice residency certificate from Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and she went on to become faculty in the Oral Surgery Department at Brookdale Hospital in 2017. She was certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2020. Her previous and foreign training background includes residency in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at University of Tehran, from 2001 to 2006, and General Dentistry at Shahid Beheshti University, from 1995 to 2001. Dr. Shokri is passionate about her career and interested in the most challenging surgical cases, while routinely taking on difficult procedures to help her patients. She is constantly learning and growing professionally and expanding her skills with the latest technical innovations and practices.
