With a large sanctuary and the smaller Lindsey Chapel, this Episcopal church is a welcoming 250-member congregation with services every Sunday at 10am by the Rev. Pamela Werntz. It also provides a wide range of social services in the community, including AA meetings, an art program for homeless people, and GLBT elderly luncheons.
In addition, Emmanuel Church has a world renown music program, and is a popular venue for concerts and weddings. The Boston Jewish Spirit and the Spirit of the Boston, an evangelical Korean congregation, rent space in the building, along with Emmanuel Music.
The church office is located on the third floor of the main entrance. If you're feeling adventurous take the 1920's elevator to get there.
