A brand new business to the community of Melrose, Dogwood Cottage was started by Heidi Barraza and Lindsey Chisholm one year ago. Barraza owns Four Preppy Paws, a dog boutique in Beacon Hill, and Chisholm worked for Barraza for two years prior to opening Dogwood Cottage, which specializes in doggie daycare, grooming and limited boarding. The business does not offer training, but does offer specialized socialization programs for dogs who have not been in a pack setting before.
