To experience a taste of New England along with a metropolitan dining experience without having to go into Boston, visit Green Land Café. Located in the heart of downtown Salem, Green Land features locally sourced, sustainable and organic foods including vegetables, fruit, seafood, cheeses and meats. The cafe has a simple, clean and elegant design. However, make sure to notice its small sublime details, like the bar, made from 1.5-inch thick oak doors from the original 1920's dance hall upstairs, or the dining room's reclaimed flooring from a New Hampshire mill.
