His grandfather, Clinton DiPietro, entered the industry in 1946, founding Haverhill Sheet Metal (later Climate Design Systems), followed by his father Tom DiPietro.???I???ve been in the business for as long as I can remember. I first began working for my family???s business as a teenager. I???ve learned a lot from my experiences, namely the importance of customer satisfaction and trusting relationship with your clients,??? said DiPietro.While in his first job, DiPietro learned the industry as the company installed and maintained thousands of systems, including those for many high-profile clients. Among those were culinary icon Julia Child, Lotus founder Mitch Kapor, former Bank of Boston Chairman Ira Stepanian, Senator Edward M. ???Ted??? Kennedy, Data General founder Edson DeCastro, former Boston Red Sox pitcher Bob Stanley, author Michael Hammer (Re-engineering The Corporation), and Brad Delp, leader of the rock group Boston. The company also installed the system for the President???s House at Tuft???s University and a new system for a building to be used by the sailors at the USS Constitution. Before starting DiPietro Heating & Cooling, DiPietro worked as a comfort advisor at Wilkins Mechanical Services, Bedford, N.H. He earned a bachelor???s degree in business administration from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. He has also received extensive heating and air conditioning training.
